Longines QWR 109 Gold plated watch Circa 1980s

Stand out this summer with this neo vintage gold plated stunner!  This watch was made in the 1980s and the caseback is stamped as made in Japan.  This was because during the 1970s-1980s, there was very high cost of importing watch cases and bracelet parts into Switzerland.  So they were manufactured in other countries then the swiss movement would be exported and fitted to the watch.  This unique method is denoted on the inside case back and the part number is also visible on the dial at 6 O'Clock, making this watch stand out from other more modern Longines watches.  Add this watch that has traveled around the world to your collection today!

We have fitted a new Swiss Renata battery to this watch and have time tested for 7 days, and the watch is keeping excellent time.
